Day 1: The quest begins

Today’s the first day of my 21 day quest to honor President Hinckley. I’m working on an arrangement of the Hymn President Hinckley wrote, “My Redeemer Lives” in a medley with the hymn “Testimony”. I’ll be posting a download soon.

Over the past days, I’ve been shaping this album in my mind, and finding ways to do it. 21 days to create an album is not very long. If you have thoughts of what you would like to see on this album, leave a comment on the site.

Let all of your friends and associates know about this quest. If we are going to honor President Hinckley, let’s make it big!

  1. Jenni says:

This is an awesome project. I wish you all the best. I’m sending you a pdf of “What is this thing that men call death,” in case you don’t have it.

  2. Jill Kirk says:

I did feel such a love for our new President, President Thomas S. Monson. I felt a witness that he truly is a prophet of God. Isn’t it amazing how the Lord truly prepares those who are called.

Addison, it is so beautiful to see you creating something to help us remember a dear dear prophet…And it is fun to hear all the beautiful sounds coming from the piano! :)

  3. Jill says:

Addison I was thinking about how President Hinckley loved the Savior. Maybe you could include songs about the Savior on your album. Just a thought.

  4. CIndy Roberson says:

I know Addison personally, and know that his true spirit will help him in putting together the beautiful music that will live in our hearts forever, just as the memory of President Hinkley will. Thanks Addison, I truely believe this is part of your mission.

  5. Caralee says:

I know I just left a comment but I had an idea. On the cd, what if you played President Hinckley’s song “What is this Thing that Men Call Death”, and the last song could be “God Be With You Til We Meet Again” just some thoughts, you don’t have to use them if you don’t want to! Good luck

  6. Caralee says:

Wow, That will sound really pretty, keep up the good work, you have a lot of support behind you. If you need any help, let me know!
