Dear Addison,

I have loved the arrangements. Man, you are talented! I would like to get 3 of the CD's. Just let me know the price!

I would price it like all the other cds out there. I checked out Deseret Book and most of their CD's have a list price of $16.98. I think people would be willing to pay that. Plus, with you putting part of the proceeds towards the Perpetual Education Fund and your own mission people will know that the money is going for some very worthy causes. Well, there is my 2 cents fo what it is worth!

Keep up the great work, and enjoy your mission! I am sure you will. You seem to have a zest for life that is very catching!

In order to segment your market, I would recommend that you take the first few disks and autograph and number them, then auction them off, perhaps including a photo and a testimony as well.

The next segment, I would create an insert for the CD case, that had a page for each song, it's background, etc.

The next segment, I would simply include the CD in a thin jewel case, with just the cover art.

For the last two segments, I would check with iTunes, and see if you can make some arrangement for the songs to be placed in their itunes store, both as an album, and as individual tracks.

As I recall, most of the iTunes songs, are $0.98 per track, or there-abouts, I suspect that they have set the price around there due to the results they have gotten from market research. And as long as you are willing to let people download it for that, it works..

As for what to charge for the non auction CD versions, a-lot of albums are retailed for something between $9 and $19 dollars. There may be a number of consumers who would buy it for something under $10, that wouldn't if it was over $10, and another group, that would not think twice about buying it for $15 - $19.98..
